About Kellie.
After being diagnosed with post-natal depression 24 years ago, I embarked on a quest to understand and optimise my own emotional and physical health.
The most important thing I have learned, both through personal experience and education, is the power of our thoughts, nutrition and movement on how we feel and the quality of our life. Our emotional health can be improved by creating an awareness of our thoughts and beliefs as well as modifying our nutrition and movement (possibly in smaller ways than you may think). Our physical health can be improved by understanding the thoughts and beliefs we have about ourselves and food and exercise. If our underlying thoughts in these areas are not identified (and modified if necessary), long lasting change in weight and health habits is very difficult.
The links between mental health, exercise and food are now well established. I have developed a range of skills and tools in all these areas to support my own wellbeing that I am now passionate about sharing with clients.
